"iAM Smart" Versions
Two versions of "iAM Smart", namely "iAM Smart"
and "iAM Smart+" are available.
Residents may register for "iAM Smart" or "iAM Smart+" per their needs. The difference between the two versions is that "iAM Smart+" will additionally provide digital signing function.

How to upgrade to "iAM Smart+"
"iAM Smart" users can bring their HKIC and approach
self-registration kiosks, registration service counters or mobile
registration teams for upgrading to "iAM Smart+".
Consent of parent or guardian is required for Hong Kong residents aged from 11 to 17 to register for "iAM Smart+".

Remark:
- If residents upgrade to "iAM Smart+" through self-registration kiosk, the accompanying parent or guardian must be "iAM Smart" User;
- If residents upgrade to "iAM Smart+" through other means, the accompanying parent or guardian must bring along his/her HKIC.
